The single-mass flywheel is made of a single piece of steel. Its construction makes it much more resistant and is able to transfer higher torques and powers than classic dual-mass flywheels. For this reason it is suitable for track and heavily tuned cars where maximum robustness and reliability is required.

Compared to the original dual-mass flywheel, the Sachs single-mass flywheel is designed to be lighter. This helps the engine rev up faster but with less engine braking.

We recommend combining the single-mass flywheel with a sprung clutch disc (either discs in reinforced organic material or copper).
