This spacer brings the steering wheel closer by 45mm and allows you to improve the driving position. Although the Boxster already features steering wheel depth adjustment, this product can be useful for tall drivers who need to go very far back with the seat or for those who want to bring the steering wheel even closer (rally style) without having to install an aftermarket steering wheel.

The spacer, made of C45 steel, fits and fixes onto the original spline while the steering wheel fits and fixes onto the spline of the spacer. Both splines have a fixed location and it is impossible to lose the center of the steering wheel.

The black aluminum shell is attached directly to the spacer and serves only an aesthetic function.

All functions such as paddles, airbags, horn and steering wheel controls are retained thanks to the included electric extension cable. ATTENTION: the connectors on the electrical extension are aesthetically identical to the original ones but DO NOT have the snap clip. That's because it's impossible to recover aftermarket connectors with the snap clip. The extension works perfectly and no returns are accepted.

This product can be installed on all Porsche Cayman 987 produced from 2006 to 2012. It can be installed on all engines/equipments (MK1, MK2, Cayman, Cayman S, Cayman R...), with all types of steering wheels and all types of gearboxes (manual or automatic).
