Extraction tool for lower joints Megane 3 RS / Clio 3 R

The Megane 3 RS 250/265/275 and Clio 3 RS 197/203 have a joint on the front suspension lower arm which can get play, become noisy and reduce the precision of the driving.

The shape of the joint makes the removal very difficult, Renault doesn't supply a tool or the joints themselvers, so the only solution is to order a new lower arm.

We can supply upgraded joints and we have designe and manufactured a specific tool, machined in vanadium steel, which makes the extraction very easy.

The head is normal 30 hex key, and a impact or electric gun is suggested to distribute the force equally on all 4 teeth.

Heat up the joint beforehand as these joints are glued in and they are steel into alluminium.

We tested a different design with simple teeth early on but it proven fragile, so we revised it adding an external ring and this has been proven effective on 100.000km / 62.000 miles joints with ease.
